The American High School Skopje is open to the diversity of students and knows that every student learns at their own pace and manner. However, there are certain necessary educational requirements that need to be accomplished in line with the curriculum and overall expectations of high school students.

In order to help every student reach their maximum potential, AHSS provides additional educational support. We are very much aware that students can easily fall behind due to illness, travel, or longer justified absence from classes, and we also know that there are students who simply need general need for assistance. In cases like these, we organize additional classes to help students accomplish their tasks and gain the necessary skills and knowledge.

This is organized by matching students that are in need of further instructions with tutors and professors. They spend additional time and effort in order to help them cope with the subjects that require greater engagement. The dynamics and organization of the additional classes and the tutoring will be determined based on the availability of both students and tutors.

In order for the Tutoring concept to work as planned and expected, students who apply for this support are obliged to present a valid reason and proof for the need for additional classes, such as the reasons stated above.
