Sara Gjorgievska holds a BSc in Applied Physics from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, where she also gained experience as a Laboratory Assistant. She has been actively involved with events organized by the Society of Physicists of Macedonia, such as state competitions and conferences. Sara’s research interests are focused on nuclear physics and on this topic she has published several papers in physics journals. Her goal is to encourage critical thinking in students and enable them to apply scientific reasoning to real-life problems. As a teacher, she believes in laboratory-lecture integration as a necessary approach for learning physics, and as an aid for better understanding of abstract theories. Apart from her native language – Macedonian, Sara is fluent in English and Spanish.
