Based on 27 of the Statute of the Private High School American High School Skopje – Skopje and based on the Decision reached on the 2nd meeting held on 8.2.2024, the Management Board of AHSS is opening a
CALL
for student enrollment in the academic 2024/2025
at the American High School Skopje
The Private High School American High School Skopje is opening the call for enrollment of 50 (fifty) students in the academic 2024/2025 (first term) for high school education in English for first year of high school education.
For the students in second, third and fourth year of high school education, the enrollment will be done based on the number of available places. Current students of the American High School Skopje who are enrolling in a higher grade will have an advantage.
If the number of candidates exceeds the number of applications designated in the Call, the School will apply additional enrollment criteria (the following will be accepted: certificates from national and international competitions and a knowledge test).
The American High School Skopje can increase the number of students who will enroll in the high school in the academic year 2024/2025, based on a previous decision of the founder.
I. TERMS:
In order to become full-time students at the American High School Skopje, the candidates are required to:
- Have completed primary education
- Be aged 17 or less
- Have sufficient knowledge in English (the School requires degrees and certificates for English language courses, as well as results from official English knowledge tests, and also considers previous education). In case the candidate does not have an appropriate language knowledge proof, the School will organize a testing.
II. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT:
- Enrollment application (аvailable at the School)
- Grade transcripts from 6th to 9th grade
- Birth certificate (regardless of the issue date)
- One passport-size photograph (5cm x 7cm)
- For foreign citizens only – stay permit
The Competition Committee will decide on the ranking and admission of the candidates. All candidates will be interviewed by a committee when applying, i.e when submitting the necessary documentation for enrollment.
Students have the right to register with partial documentation for enrollment, but they must submit it completely no later than the end of the registration deadlines stated in Section III.
III. REGISTRATION DEADLINES
The registration of the candidates will be done in the following deadlines:
- First registration deadline until June 28, 2024
- Second registration period from July 1, 2024 to July 19, 2024
- Third registration period from July 22, 2024 to August 29, 2024
If there are available places in the first registration period, registration is carried out in the second and third registration periods.
All documents need to be delivered at the American High School Skopje at the address Treta Makedonska Brigada no. 60, Skopje 1000 (in the University American College Skopje building).
