And we’re back!

The start of a new school year that is already well underway, this represents the perfect time to reflect upon some of the many talented and inspiring individuals that make up our AHSS Student of The Week weekly segment.

Getting straight into it, today we present you this week’s Students of the Week – Alphan Gezer!

A creative soul at heart, Alphan is an individual with many interests in life, such as nature walks, skateboarding, listening to music, and taking a keen interest in history through the lens of documentaries. Yet, despite all his hobbies, Alphan’s main passion in life is and has been – poetry. Reasoning that it is the best way for him to express himself, it represents a medium, and a useful tool, that works best to demonstrate his views of life and create something from deep within.

From a poem written and read aloud at a friend’s birthday party, to a current treasure cove of poems, it’s safe to say that this may well be the start of a beautiful relationship between Alphan and the world of poetry. And, for all who take a keen interest, or even a casual liking to poetry, enclosed are some selected poems available to the public, that capture just a piece of Alphan’s world.

A budding, young, and well-versed poet to say the least, we can’t wait to read all of Alphan’s future works and be amazed, as his inspiration for life continues to grow and flourish!
