This past month, our IB DP 4 students dedicated their CAS project to spreading kindness, gratitude and compassion through a Thanksgiving community initiative.

In collaboration with Retvitni obrok and Vistinski dela na ljubeznost, yesterday they prepared over 150 warm meals and personally distributed them to people in need across our community. It was a day filled with kindness, gratitude, and compassion – the true spirit of Thanksgiving. We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication, teamwork and big hearts.

The group also filmed Thanksgiving Video Journals with AHSS students, capturing what gratitude means to them. We’re sharing one of those videos with you today, along with photos from the cooking and distribution. And this morning, our students put up a beautiful Wall of Gratitude at school – a space where everyone can share what they are thankful for.

Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative. Together, we made a difference – and our students felt the joy of giving in the most genuine way.
