Double Victory for AHSS at the CIRAN European Video Contest!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that American High School Skopje students have taken both 1st and 2nd place at this year’s CIRAN Project European Video Competition! 🏆✨
Out of many creative entries from across Europe, our talented students shined with their thought-provoking perspectives, artistic storytelling, and deep awareness of global issues.
🥇 1st Place: “Reimagining Our Future: A World Without Resource Conflicts” – by Bisera Drndar
🥈 2nd Place: “Fighting for Earth” – by Jana Aceski and Maksim Miloshevski
This year’s competition challenged young people to reflect on a complex and timely theme: “Balancing societal expectations – mineral raw materials essential for our socio-economic development vs. nature protection.” Through their videos, Bisera and Jana explored how humanity’s progress depends on the responsible use of natural resources, and how every action we take can either harm or heal our planet. 🌿🌎
Their works remind us that sustainability is not just a political or economic issue – it’s a human one. They showed that with creativity, compassion, and courage, the next generation is ready to lead us toward a more mindful and balanced future. 💚✨
We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, originality, and vision.
Congratulations, Bisera and Jana, for representing AHSS and Macedonia with excellence and heart! 🇲🇰🎉
