School Psychologist

Petar Daneski is a highly trained educator and mental health professional committed to supporting academic, personal-social, and career development. 

As the School Psychologist at AHSS, Petar is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Guided by his passion for psychology and his dedication to the well-being of young minds, Petar’s mission is to contribute to the holistic development of each student. He strives to support students academically, emotionally, and socially, ensuring that they have the tools and confidence to succeed in all areas of their lives.

By collaborating with students, parents, and staff, our psychologist implements responsive and preventative services tailored to meet the needs of all students. Their goal is to create a safe and respectful school environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Our student wellbeing services are designed to help you achieve your full potential during your time at AHSS. We offer a range of support, information, and guidance on various topics—all available for free to current students. Additionally, our dedicated school psychologist is here to support you throughout your journey at AHSS, ensuring you have the resources you need to thrive.

Comprehensive Student Services

Our school psychologist offers a variety of services to support student wellbeing, including:

Classroom Lessons, developing appropriate lessons focused on academic, social/emotional, and career development.

Small Group Counseling, facilitating group sessions that address specific topics such as social skills, academic success, grief/loss, and family changes.

Individual Counseling, which includes short-term, one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at helping students develop effective problem-solving strategies and express their feelings and concerns. Students can self-refer or be referred by a parent, teacher, or administrator.

How to reach the school psychologist

To schedule an appointment, you can email us at psychologist@ahss.edu.mk, stop by the counseling office on the 2nd floor during school hours, or ask a teacher to make a referral for a visit or talk.

Confidentiality and Privacy

The students’ privacy is our priority. All counseling sessions are confidential, and all personal information will be protected.
