Giornata Internazionale della Pasta, or as we know it, Pasta Day at AHSS! 
What an unforgettable (and delicious!) day we had at our school! Our annual Pasta Day celebration brought together students, teachers and staff for a joyful afternoon filled with food, laughter, and Italian vibes. 
Our classroom 1G turned into a little Italian trattoria – tables filled with colorful plates and the aroma of freshly made pasta everywhere. Students prepared their own creative versions of this beloved dish: from the traditional pesto pasta full of flavor and freshness, to the Balkan-inspired pasta with ajvar, and even a surprisingly tasty creamy pasta with pickles and corn that won everyone’s curiosity (and hearts)! 
Our Czech friends joined right in – cooking, tasting, laughing, and dancing to the rhythm of classic Italian songs that filled the air. It was a beautiful mix of cultures and friendships, showing once again that food truly brings people together.
Teachers and staff didn’t miss out either – everyone gathered to try the students’ creations, share their favorites, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. It was wonderful to see our entire AHSS community come together around something so simple, yet so meaningful.
From pasta spoons to laughter and music, Pasta Day 2025 reminded us that learning can be fun, collaborative, and delicious.
