Vera Hadji-Pulja has been working as a philosophy educator in both higher and secondary education for the past 10 years. Her research is within the phenomenological school of thought, and her themes of interest center around so-called “limit-problems”, modified experiences in general (and in the context of new technologies more specifically), as well as the intersection of phenomenology and qualitative research in the empirical sciences. She has taken part in many conferences and has published several articles in both local and international journals.

Ms. Ana Trajkovska holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, a degree certificate in Spanish Language and Literature, a Teaching Certificate from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Skopje, and a certificate from the University Library, Skopje. She is also a member of the IBO organization, and holds a certificate for Language Acquisition in IB, IB Spanish Ab Initio and the Middle Years Program (MYP). She has been teaching English, Spanish and Macedonian for Foreigners for 20 years now, and she uses methods that develop students into inquiring, knowledgeable, confident and caring young people.

He holds a B.A. degree in joint concentration in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics and has almost two decades of educational experience as a high school teacher in state and private schools in Macedonia. At the end of their four years at AHSS, Stanisha says that he will be a bit happier if he can make students appreciate nature and its workings and “see the world through eyes that know physics.”

Professional Experience

Keti is our German language teacher. She joined the teaching profession in 2002 and has extensive experience in German language teaching. Since 2017, she has also been working as a German Language Lecturer at the University American College Skopje (UACS). She is also an external associate at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, where she mentors students during their teaching practice and participates in examinations in German Language Teaching Methodology.

Interests / Hobbies / Goals

Reading is one of Keti’s greatest passions, and she is rarely without a book. She loves travelling and discovering new places, but her favorite way to relax is spending time in nature with her family and friends, going for walks and cycling.

Educational Background:
Master’s studies in English Language and Literature, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Faculty of Philology, with academic work focused on Applied Linguistics, General Linguistics, Morphology, Syntax, Lexicology and English Language Teaching Methodology. His Master’s thesis examined Phrasal and Prepositional Verbs in English and Their Equivalents in the Macedonian Language.

Professional Experience:
English language educator with more than two decades of experience in English Language Teaching. The professional career includes teaching English to young learners, teenagers and adults, as well as teaching English for Specific Purposes, including Business English and Legal English. He has extensive experience preparing students for internationally recognized examinations, including Cambridge ESOL examinations (FCE, CAE and CPE), IELTS and TOEFL.

Throughout the career, Bojan has combined classroom teaching with curriculum development, teacher training and professional development. He has worked as an English Language Teaching Advisor, developing curricula and syllabi for learners of different ages and levels, as well as for English for Specific Purposes and examination-preparation programmes. He has also worked as an English Language Teaching Consultant and Teacher Trainer, delivering presentations and workshops on English teaching methodology to teachers in both state and private schools.

His professional experience also includes serving as a short-term ELT expert on an EU project focused on the professional development of Bosnian civil servants, where he contributed to curriculum design and the preparation of supplementary English for Specific Purposes materials.

Ilkovski has been involved in professional development and international language-education initiatives through the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe. He participated in the PluriMobil project on mobility programmes for plurilingual and intercultural education and has been actively involved in professional activities organized by the English Language Teachers’ Association of Macedonia (ELTAM).

He has also presented at professional conferences, including the ELTAM–IATEFL–TESOL International Biannual Conference, where he addressed the importance of examinations and their impact on test-takers.

Bojan Ilkovski is also an approved lecturer in Legal English at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors, as well as a certified court translator.

In addition to teaching, Bojan has extensive experience in writing, editing, translation, training and content development. His work has included proofreading and translation for published research and institutional materials, reflecting his broader interest in language as both an educational tool and a means of communication across professional and cultural contexts.

With over 10 years of experience in the Macedonian literary scene, teacher Ana is a vital part of the newer generation of female authors and has been part of important literary and linguistic events. She is the author of six published books, three poetry collections and three children’s books. Currently working on the next one. Jani Kosturski worked as orchestra and choir director at Mountain View Middle School and RISD elementary schools to bring orchestral education to the students in New Mexico. He is a multitalented musician who plays dozen of instruments, teaches piano, guitar, singing and music in general, he directed musicals and theater plays for the Roswell Off-Broadway Theatre and enjoys performing with his jazz band in his free time.
