AHSS Students Participate in the Junior Achievement Innovation Camp

A group of AHSS students proudly took part in the Junior Achievement Innovation Camp, an exciting and intensive program designed to challenge young minds and spark innovative thinking. The event offered our students a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers from other schools, develop creative solutions, and experience what it truly means to turn ideas into action.

The JA Innovation Camp is an intense and inspiring experience that allows students to move from theory to practice. This 24-hour creativity challenge encourages teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving as participants work together to develop concrete concepts and present their final ideas.

Each camp focuses on a specific, real-world industry or sector with high growth potential – such as green industries, agriculture, ICT and technology-related businesses, tourism, or the creative industries.

During the camp, students are divided into teams of four to eight members, often with peers they are meeting for the first time. They must quickly adapt, organize their tasks, and collaborate efficiently while making the best use of everyone’s individual strengths. Supported by experienced adult mentors from the relevant sectors, the teams dive deep into the challenge, explore the current state of the industry, analyze existing solutions, and create their own innovative proposals.

Through this engaging and dynamic process, students not only strengthen their creativity and teamwork skills, but also gain valuable insight into real-world entrepreneurship and innovation.

We would like to thank Junior Achievement Macedonia for the opportunity and add how incredibly proud we are of our AHSS students for their dedication, collaboration and enthusiasm during this year’s JA Innovation Camp – a true example of learning in action!
