Venera Krliu PhD

School Principal

Aleksandra has an extensive advertising experience as a copywriter for more or less 20 years. She has been a part of the creative departments of several advertising and marketing agencies in the country, working on the creative concepts for many local, regional and international brands. She has written countless commercials, slogans, headlines, taglines and even a few obituaries. She has also written and published several critical theory texts and analyses in literary magazines, but times are tough for theory lovers. She has also worked as a book editor, translator and author in the publishing agency Ars Lamina and is exceptionally proud on the books she edited.

Aleksandra Kiraca holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law, “Iustinianus Primus,” at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Social Policy from the Faculty of Philosophy at the same institution. Ms. Kiraca has extensive experience in secondary and higher education, having served as Secretary General, Erasmus+ Coordinator and Legal and Administrative Coordinator. She is currently an Assistant Principal at AHSS, where she continues to contribute to the advancement of education.

Adrijana has been a part of American High School Skopje for 3 years. Before she became a part of the American High School Skopje, she was employed at the University American College Skopje for 14 years. While she was a part of the University American College Skopje she worked as Full Time Student Coordinator and also as a Front Desk Officer.

Administrative Assistant

As one of the latest members of our team, Bojana has over 9 years of experience in the matters of Law, with specialization in Corporate Law. Before joining us, she worked as Legal Generalist in corporative environment and after that, as Head of Unit for support of the bodies at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors. She also worked briefly as a Student Admission Coordinator, which she considers as an unusual, but very valuable work experience.

Since the first day of opening the American High School Skopje, Sandra was there to welcome the students and the professors in the school. She is part of AHSS for more than 7 years. Before working in the American High School Skopje, Sandra worked at the University American College Skopje for more than 7 years, at first as a Part-time student coordinator, and after that as Undergraduate student coordinator. The work experience that she brought to the American High School Skopje was priceless.

Student Relations Office

Petar has been an integral part of the American High School Skopje faculty since 2023. He is a dedicated licensed psychologist with extensive experience in both educational and clinical settings. His background includes roles as a psychology teacher, educational assistant, and psychologist at the Clinic of Oncology Skopje and the Clinic of Neurology Skopje. These experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of human behavior and mental processes. In addition to his formal education, Petar is a Psychodrama Psychotherapist under supervision, allowing him to incorporate creative therapeutic techniques to foster personal growth and emotional well-being among students.

Natasha Angjeleska PhD

School Pedagogue

Andonovski has been working in both formal and informal education since 2015. He is
known for teaching Macedonian language and literature, as well as Drama. As a founder
of “Theatre for everyone” – association for theatre education and production, he has
taught Drama to both high school students and teachers, as well as to adults.

Ms. Ana Trajkovska holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, a degree certificate in Spanish Language and Literature, a Teaching Certificate from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Skopje, and a certificate from the University Library, Skopje. She is also a member of the IBO organization, and holds a certificate for Language Acquisition in IB, IB Spanish Ab Initio and the Middle Years Program (MYP). She has been teaching English, Spanish and Macedonian for Foreigners for 20 years now, and she uses methods that develop students into inquiring, knowledgeable, confident and caring young people.
